As you can see, we are constantly improving Tube Automator by putting out new versions with new features, updates and fixes. Below is a complete list of every version of Tube Automator we have released dating back to 2007!

Version 5.5 Critical Update [28th Jan 2009]
- Youtube has made major changes to its code which required a lot of code to be rewritten. This update now addresses all issues, except the account creation which is still not supported..
Version Update 5.4 Critical Update [5th Dec 2009]
- The account creation feature has been temporarily discontinued due to the changes at youtube and will be added back in as soon as we find a fix.
- All accounts that you use if they are newly created ( ie after 12th May 2009) then you will need to put them through an additional validation process before you use them. For more info on this see this help page (deprecated)
Version Update 5.3 Critical Update [12th Aug 2009]
- Youtube has integrated their system with Gmail. Please note due to the urgency of this fix, it has not been tested thoroughly. It has only been tested for India and the US. In case you find any bugs please open a support ticket.
- Occasional timeouts are being noticed during account creation and we think this should settle down once their migration is complete

Version Update 4.3 Critical Update [16th August 2008]
- This code has fixes specific for US users/proxies which caused timeouts and caused the software to hang at times. Youtube's geo redirected system still seems to be buggy and this is a work around fix.

- Code fix for youtube changes to account confirmation email.
Version Update 4.0 [5th July 2008]
- Added timeout option for catchall testing which allows users to increase timeout form the default 10 seconds to a max of 3 minutes. This is useful when the server is under load or when the catchall domain is slow in forwarding the test mail.

- Bug fix for search function where results went into millions. Please note youtube doesn't allow search based on parameters others than keyword, so the other options have been disabled.

- Bug fix for catchall that wasn't saved properly at times.
Version Update 2.0 (Major Update) [8th Dec 2007]
- Added catch-all address implementation that will solve the common email domain issue.
- Added option to scrape comments from videos that are searched by keyword.
- Added comment blaster that can blast your comments to hundreds of videos posting your advertisements, this comes with rotating accounts and is multithreaded to post comments to as many videos in the shortest possible time and aims to avoid the captcha as much as it can.
- Application sleeps for a predefined time interval when all accounts are captchad. Youtube unblocks accounts after 10 mins usually
- It also has an option to append random comment snippets to your comment to avoid duplicate comment filters.

- Changed the domain of the confirmation email as youtube wasn't consistently sending mail to the eariler email
- Added new feature that lets you check your existing accounts to see which have been deleted by youtube
- Added menu item to disable/enable system messages

Increased the length of the random characters appended to end of username to make it more unique and prevent the "username already taken" issue.
Version Update 1.3 [30th August 2007]
Youtube apparently has changed their commenting section again. Now you can notice icons for "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" beside each comment if you visit any video at Youtube. This required a change in the code and hence this new update.
Version Update 1.2 [28th August 2007]
Youtube has stopped sending validaiton mails to the earlier domain we used in email when creating accounts and that's the reason why new accounts weren't being validated. We have now updated to a new domain and now the mail is received fine. In the event that this domain is banned in the future we will again update as we have done now.
Though please note that at times youtube tends to be slow and the validation mail takes time to arrive, so in case you cant validate a particular account, please wait for some time and retry.
We urge you to download and install TOR. First visit http://tor.eff.org/download.html.en
This is an open source software+network of tor servers that act as proxies. Using this each time you can get a new anonymous IP. So once you have installed the software, you will see 2 icons in your system tray.
One called "Vidalia" and another called "Privoxy". Both need to be on.
Now in Tube Automator, all you need to enter in the proxy setting is 127.0.0.1 as the IP and 8118 as the port. This will help us stay under the radar at youtube.
Also don't go overboard and make a 1000 accounts in one day, space the account creation out and you can reuse the accounts you have created over and over again.
